Overview
It is observed that EDR files sent using the Offline Collector service are not received on the IPLMS Server. This article explains how to troubleshoot the issue.
Solution
The EDRs(Event Data Records) are pushed to the IPLMS server by external systems using an offline collection service. So we are collecting the EDRs in the default folder configured for the Offline Collector Service and transferring them towards the configured Parsing input location for further processing.
- The service level logs generate entries for each collection and transfer. So first verify if the service level logs indicate any such entries.
- Check the input path configured in the service definition for input EDR files.
EDR files are not received is an indication that either of the above 2 points will show any results. Share the analysis with the client.
If not continue analyzing the logs for different errors.
